MONDAYS

9 am–10 am Yoga with Pam Breithaupt
A class for all levels introducing breathing practices for greater mental focus and techniques for increasing strength and flexibility. Increase ease and stability in both your body and mind. This morning class will take a gentler approach to help you loosen up stiff muscles and prepare mentally and physically for whatever your day at The Crossings will bring. (Movement Room)

12:15 pm–1 pm Qi gong with Gayl Hubatch, O.M.D.
Qi gong, or "exercise that restores balance," is an original martial art developed in China. It is a meditative exercise practice that encourages the mind and body to align. Directed at reducing stress and anxiety, Qi gong is quickly becoming a modern answer for those interested in achieving a balanced state of mind and a flexible, healthy body. (Movement Room)

5 pm–6 pm Zen Meditation Practice with David Stopher
This class provides the opportunity for contemplative practice here. If you have attended the Zen or Tibetan meditation class, this is a time where you can practice on your own. Prayer texts and malas (prayer beads) are welcome. In order to have this practice time open and grounded in basic contemplative silence/awareness, prayer practices should be done quietly. The Sanctuary is a wonderful place to practice prayer and meditation and all are welcome! (Sanctuary)

An introductory class for all levels. Classical yoga postures linked with the breath creating a moving meditative practice designed to increase flexibility and strength. (Movement Room)

11 am–12 pm Fitness Fun with Pauline Hargis
A combination of an invigorating, energetic and non-complex workout, including cardiovascular, resistance, core balance and flexibility. (Movement Room)

5 pm–5:45 pm Reiki with Georgy Pancharian
An introductory class designed to experience Reiki healing energy. You will receive an attunement which will align you with the Reiki energy. Attend and experience the grace that is Reiki! (Movement Room)

WEDNESDAYS

After stating an intention, the breath work involves very deep breathing starting with slow, then moving to faster music. During the work, the instructor will state affirmations to open the chakras. Reiki may be administered to small groups. (Movement Room)

2 pm–3 pm Iridology: Secrets of the Eyes with Kianna Smith
Learn how this noninvasive tool can help you understand health tendencies and predispositions. The iris is equipped with a kind of miniature recording screen that can gauge the status of your health—this recording over time shows significant events that have been played out in a person's life. A comprehensive analysis including recommendations will assist you in breaking away from disease orientation and address your specific situation and needs. (Movement Room)

This group recitation of simple sounds is excellent for creating mental focus and improving memory skills. The chanting can be relaxing or energizing for the mind, depending on volume, speed, or the sound itself. Join us for this fun learning experience! No prior experience necessary. It is suggested, though not required, that you attend the 9 am yoga class to prepare the body and the breath for chanting. (Movement Room)

11 am–12 pm Dao-Yin with Janus Lee
An ancient self-healing practice meaning "to lead with the breath." Dao-Yin is taught to patients in Chinese hospitals for restorative purposes. Qi (energy) flow is promoted using deep, meditative stretches, both singularly and paired with others. (Movement Room)

12:30 pm–1:30 pm Fitness Fun with Pauline Hargis
A combination of an invigorating, energetic and non-complex workout, including cardiovascular, resistance, core balance and flexibility. (Movement Room)

2 pm–3 pm Labyrinth Walk with Kay Johns
After a short introduction, we will set an intention for our journey. We will walk the labyrinth, grounding in the energy of the beautiful Hill Country. Please meet in the Sanctuary and bring paper or a journal. (Sanctuary)

11 am–11:45 am Yoga for Strengthening with Pam Breithaupt
Use the yogic principles of breath and movement with weight bearing postures. We will also use small hand weights for upper body work. Designed for strengthening the core, arms and leg muscles. (Good for those for slight bone loss.) (Movement Room)

A class for all levels introducing the principles of breath, movement and the relationship of our breath to the curves of our spine. We will demonstrate the use of classical yoga postures linked with breath and movement to increase flexibility and strength.
