James Van Praagh will lead Spirit Communication: Crossing the Cosmic Divide from May 2–4.
None of us will ever know what it is truly like when we leave the confines of the physical body. Do we even exist or are we in a different form of life? Are there other realities? Can we measure feelings or thoughts or knowingness in a physical way?
Through my personal experience I know there is indeed more and that death is merely a doorway—a doorway to a higher life, one which in certain respects is almost impossible to describe in human terms. It seems as simplistic as it is that love is the energy—the force, if you will—which binds us. It is the force that defines everything we know. It brings us together and opens us up to seeing, hearing, and feeling the soul of another.
Everyone has a choice in life, for life is made up of a series of choices. Bsically, everything comes down to a common denominator—love or fear. Every choice you make is based on love or fear. Perhaps it is difficult in this world because we don't see as clearly as we should. Wwe don't know things or understand things as well as we should. But perhaps if we did, we would not challenge ourselves to grow in new understandings and perspectives. Maybe we are living in a limited reality.
This three dimensional world is limited in scope. Science has yet to define instruments and tools to measure other realities. Some say we live in a fog bank, where every once in a while we get glimpses of things. These glimpses are revelations. In a revelation we are inspired; we have clarity.
I believe we can experience more of that clarity by going to the source of who we are. We do this by going within—through prayer, meditation, and contemplation. Through that doorway we may touch a part of our souls, our truth, our innate "being-ness."
Each one's experience and truth is different and no one's truth or God is better than another, just different. Each one is an individual, building their own unique understanding of themselves. I believe our life's task is to become fully realized with that soul part of who we are and in that understanding we grow and realize that that force of love is what we will find deep in ourselves. Indeed, it will set us free. If we could take the time to find that in another, perhaps our limitations in this three dimensional world would open up and the fog would be lifted once and for all.
